Miranda Earns First Senior National Race Walk Title!

 (05/20/2012 - Riverside, CA) - Miranda Melville won her first-senior women's National Race Walk Championship title in the 15km, with a time of 1:17:55 at the 15km Race Walk Naitonal Championship in Riverside, CA. The win came only one short week after a demanding 20km race at the Race Walk World Cup in Saransk, Russia where she placed a strong 49^th with a 1:39:14.

 Miranda said "I was still tired from racing in Russia and from the 30 hours of travel back to San Diego, so I was happy to be able to refocus on this race and win the title."
